Originally built in 1514, many additions to the palace have been made over the years by its different owners; its most famous resident being Henry VIII. Today, Hampton Court Palace is the largest Tudor structure in England. Visitors to the palace can tour through various areas in the building and the 60-acre Palace gardens, including the Tudor Kitchens, Henry VIII’s State Apartments and the Renaissance Picture Gallery.
